Its back to the good old sampler to act as the core creative device while doodling around the abstract sonic structures evolving out of playful pulling and pushing of the loop points from sixteenths to triplets to way beyond. It feels like Dope’s raising the heat on the Jazz Hip Hop Fusion function. Doing stuff that is both a full on improvisation and a deep tech dive into playing with samples.
