Dope return with a bubbling, dirty, down tempo slice of groovaliscous jazzy rare groove. The usual brass riffs, organ and Rhodes fill the void created by a tight loop enabled by a swinging bass line. This feels like its been lifted straight out of the back catalogue of a hipster Jazz label riding the vibes back in the late 70s. Maybe it has? Maybe the seeds just sat there for decades until they grew and emerged in the mind of Pete Pritchard and formed themselves as a Kind of Dope? Keep the Dope!
